Trans*Art is an art exhibition that places a trans work in the center of the stage. Art is a powerful tool for expressing and sharing our inner worlds, and it is a basis for creating culture and community. Art is especially important to the trans community because it has the power to give abstract feelings expression in the physical world and resonate life experiences. The choice to hold the exhibition at the trans center was made out of a desire to connect the physical space with the experiential space, between the personal and the communal, and to celebrate our rich trans culture.
