Melech
The “Melech” series deals with questions of gender identity through my intimate journey with suffering and joy. From my childhood and gendered lessons I experienced, until the here and now. How much has the world changed in these 30 years. In 2016 I first started to be involved with drag. I created the character of my kind- Ruby Rebel, through which I experience more of myself. Gender, coercion and choice, what has been etched into us, and what do we yearn for?
